Well I've walked lost and lonely

Down a long and dangerous road

Livin' like a drifter

Never found my way back home

Lost a lot of good things

Along this broken trail

Runnin' from the devils

That were drivin' me to hell

Listen to that old train roll

Hear that lonesome whistle blow

Reminds me of home

Feels like a long time dream is gone

Rolling further on and on

Down that never-ending line

Well I had a Hell of a time

Crossin The Line

Beatin' down the doors

Just to pass out on the floor of the stage

I've had a Hell of a time

Messin' up my mind

Gettin' too far gone

To carry out a song of my own

It's been a Hell of a ride

Now I got you by my side

And it's alright

And we'll be just fine

I got tired of being lonely

Gettin' too damn drunk and ornery

Yeah, I was out of my mind

Trade the booze and the poppy

For cannabis and coffee

And everything will be just fine

I had a Hell of a time

Crossin' The Line

Beatin' down the doors

Just to get drunk and fall off the stage

Well I've had a Hell of a time

Messing up my mind

Gettin' too far gone

To carry out some songs of my own

But it's been a Hell of a ride

And now I got you by my side

And it'll be alright

And we'll be just fine

Yeah it's alright

And we're just fine

Tearin' down the road

Feelin' sick and cold

I've got a ramblin' feelin' in my soul

Been runnin' from the bad times

Lookin' for somethin' good

And I'd stone every one of us

If I only could

There's riots in the streets

We're all a bunch of sheep

To each their own

Leave me alone

So that I can have some peace

By God, I hurt your feelings

You only want more and more

What the Hell is going on

In this big old crazy world?

Lies all over the TV

Shit on the radio

You think we've come a long way

But we got so far to go

And I'm tearin' down the road

Feelin' sick and cold

And I've got a ramblin' feelin' in my soul

Mind your own religion

Keep your politics to your self

I don't need your booze and pills

Your money and your wealth

Everybody's lookin' for answers

Livin' in their own little shell

Don't waste the day all filled with hate

'Cause happiness is health

And I'm tearin' down the road

Feelin' sick and cold

I've got a ramblin' feelin' in my soul

You came and gave me

A dose of reality

Brought me back from

A broken mentality

Had to change my lifestyle

Got tired of livin' wild

Tryin' to fill that emptiness

I was blind to all these years

You're like cinnamon in my coffee

Girl, so bittersweet

Cannabis in your eyes

Deep purple and green

You're headline news

That I'd love to read

And everything

I didn't think I need

But the best damn thing

That's ever happened to me

I put the bottle down

Threw them pills away

And Lord, I swear,

I'll never touch no more cocaine

Now I got you

And your love

And a little bit of help

From the Old Man above

You're like cinnamon in my coffee

Girl, so bittersweet

Cannabis in your eyes

Deep purple and green

You're headline news

That I'd love to read

And everything

I didn't think I need

But the best Damn Thing

That's ever happened to me

Cinnamon in my coffee

Girl, so bittersweet

Cannabis in your eyes

Deep purple and green

You're headline news

That I'd love to read

And everything

I didn't think I need

'Bout the best Damn Thing

That's ever happened to me

The rooster crows

 Ready for sunrise

Takin' on another day

I keep on workin' I don't understand

The bills piling up, gotta' pay

All I see on tv is sex and death

And my news feed's just the same

We've all forgotten what it's all about

With a blue light blinding our brain

What are we gonna' do about the bees?

What are we gonna' do without the trees?

What are we gonna' do when all the people wipe out all the land?

Well, I'm a night owl

Wild, wonderin' mind

Keeps me far away from sleep

I keep on thinkin' I don't understand

How self-entitled everybody can be

All I see is people

lookin' out for themselves

Stop and think about some humanity

You get back what you give in life

It don't come from a little screen

What are we gonna' do about the bees?

What are we gonna' do without the trees?

What are we gonna' do when all the people wipe out all the land?

And the eagle flies

Cross the ocean

Carryin' a nation's weight

I keep on prayin', I don't understand

Why we wanna' live this way

All I see is evil, hate, death and war

Sendin' our kids off to die

All the while we can't help ourselves

To sit around and eat the whole pie

What are we gonna' do about the bees?

What are we gonna' do without the trees?

What are we gonna' do when all the people wipe out all the land?

I'm mesmerized how your hair flies

Dancing in the wind

Like the wings of butterflies

Radiant beams of beauty shine

From your soul

through your eyes to mine

Take my hand and float away

Today we'll never

Fade away to grey

But to stay

On a long lost lover's highway

Until the end

Our souls left wondering

Dancing in the wind

From the misty moonbeams

To the rays of the rising sun

We'll go down this road of life

Till our kingdom come

Our love is like a rainbow

A little sunshine and rain

flowers grow wild out of the weeds

And love outgrows the pain

Forget about the weather

We overcame

And as sure as I know

there'll  be blue skies

I'll be laying next to you tonight

I hear your voice

I hear angels singin' to me

From up above

In perfect harmony

And it's your choice

To keep them singin' to me

I think I'm in love

With whatever brought you to me

So let's dim the light

I'll fold down the cover

We'll go all night

I'll be your

Perfect Lover

And you make me smile

When you come into my mind

I just wanna' be

The one you're tryin' to find

You're worth all the while

Us apart is wasted time

I'll never be happy

Till I can make you

All mine

So let's dim the light

I'll fold down the cover

We'll go all night

I'll be your

Perfect Lover

Your perfect Lover

Like no other

No other Lover

Let's make this right

Let's make this tight

Let's love tonight

Let me be your

Your perfect Lover

Perfect Lover

Like no other

No other Lover

Once upon a time

I was runnin' around

Lost livin' lonely

Didn't wanna' be found

Then you came along

Like a brand new sound

To lift my spirit up

From the low down

It's me and you

And Elvis on the turntable

Two souls together

Young and able

Wake up to pancakes and maple

Talk about how capable we are

To spend some time together

Despite the weather

We're gonna drift through the clouds

Play for the crowds

And do it loud and proud

Like the days before

We are the children of war

And our souls are sore

And everything is a bore

For Generations galore

Mmm.... Mmm...

You're the fire in my eye

Love's lost alibi

You make me glad that you're mine

A love like ours is so hard to find

Even if we got a lot on our minds

When I'm on the whiskey

And you're on the wine

Mmm... Mmm...

Takin' it slow and easy

Never took a toll on me

Like my wilder days

When I was crazy

More than a man should be

But you came along

And saved me from

A life of misery

Now I got my eye

On a better life

Then the way I used to see it

I'm gettin' along real slow and easy

Kicked back feelin real stoned

Doing mighty fine

Since You got home

Workin' all the daytime

Tonight I'll sing my song

Been doin mighty fine

Since You got home

Runnin' round wild and crazy

Hell it took its toll on me

Livin' in the bars

Just tryin hard

A little more than a man should be

I was beat down, broke, all used up

And It was time for a change

So I made room in this cluttered life

I just had to re-arrange it

Now I'm gettin' along real slow and easy

Kicked back feelin' real stoned

Been doin' mighty fine

Since You got home

Been workin' all the daytime

Tonight I'll sing my song

Been doin' mighty fine

Since You got home

Robby Cox 's first self-titled album was released in August of 2017.

This eleven track album has something for everyone. From the deep bass sounds in Ramblin' Feelin' to the poetic melodies in Lover's Highway, it is sure to keep you listening over and over again.

All the tracks on the album are written by Robby Cox. Robby also does all of the harmonica, vocals and acoustic guitar on the album. He recorded the album at Bywater Studio in Frankfort, Kentucky. His longtime friend and fellow musician, Marcus Brothwell, produced the album and added instruments on several tracks. Marcus was instrumental (no pun intended) in making this album what it is. Hello Sunshine

Goodbye rain

It'll all about livin' in a brand new way

We can be useful

We can be truthful

Only God knows about

the sunshine above the shade

The Devil takes his blows

It's how it goes

The seeds we planted in the past

still grow

Yesterday's just another day

In bloom until tomorrow

And I'm ready for a better Life

No more pain and strife

Are you ready for a better Life?

No more sacrifice

I'm ready for a better Life

Are you ready for a better Life?

It's all about the sunlight

Above the shade

Smilin' at the weepin' willow

along the way

It's self-esteem

Silly psilocybin dreams

Chiefin' the peace pipe

And laughin' at the trees

The sands of time they say

All slip away

Until we meet again someday

Nothing's ever what it seems

It's all about what we believe

And I'm ready for a better Life

No more pain and strife

Are you ready for a better Life?

No more sacrifice

I'm ready for a better Life

Are you ready for a better Life?

I was runnin' around all messed up

Tryin' to be some kind of

Self-proclaimed outlaw

Full of pills, and alcohol

What a fool I was to think

That would ever help me

To write a song

Years later with nothin' to show

But now the songs, they flow

Like a river in my mind

It's funny about time

How it gets away from you

There's nothing we can do

Like a river in my mind

Carry me down the line

You threw me a life Saver

You're a Life Saver

Seemed like sometimes

All the good times got the best of me

Drinkin' myself blind

Just tryin' to see

I was searchin' for a light

Seemed like all I saw

Was a life full of sorrow

And alcohol

Like a river in my mind

It's funny about time

How it gets away from you

There's nothin' we can do

Like a river in my mind

Carry me down the line

You threw me a life Saver

You're a Life Saver

You threw me a life Saver

You're a Life Saver

Like a river in my mind

Carry me down the line

You threw me a life Saver

You're a Life Saver

You threw me a life Saver

You're a life Saver

A thousand words

Can never say

Everything I wanna' say

To you love

And every little thing

That I feel

You know now that it's real

For you love

Cause you're everything

To me

Everything

I'll ever need

My soul Candy

A thousand stars

In the sky

Sparkle like your eyes

You're beautiful, love

And, oh, I'd love to stare

Deep into you

See the things I'd love to do

For you love

And I can see it in your eyes

So, let your passion rise

And fall down onto me

Cause you're everything to me

Everything I'll ever need

My soul Candy

My soul Candy
